OBJECTIVE : Students will be able to read silently in class any English materials

ACTIVITIES :

1)   Students are brought to SEEDS room.
2)   Teacher asks students to choose a short story from any book
3)   Students do silent reading.
4)   Teacher concludes the lesson of the day.

MATERIALS : books in SEEDS room library

EVALUATION: Students' ability to read silently without disturbing others

THEME/TOPIC : PEOPLE / GETTING TO KNOW YOU

OBJECTIVE : Students will be able to:

          i. Get to know each other
          ii. Understand the English Language syllabus & PT3 exam format
          iii. Write their problems and expectations in learning English Language.

CONTENT : English Language Syllabus, PT3 examination format

ACTIVITIES :
1. Ice breaking session – students are to write their hopes for PT3 2015 on a stick on notes and later to put it in their journal. The teacher then talks about the jar of hope as a symbol of the students' hope as form 3 students.
2. Teacher lays out the rules and regulations for her class.
3. Teacher asks students some questions pertaining the subject.
4. Teacher refreshes students on basic topics & the PT3 examination format.
5. Teacher distributes stick-on notes, students have to write their problems in learning English Language and expectations in form 3.
6. Discussion of the students’ responses.
